We have had the absolute pleasure to work with Jane Rogers this week, the inspirational leader who manages the Kew Community Allotment. Jane works with a whole raft of charities to engage their service users in a range of activities to empower them and promote wellbeing as well as gain new skills. Now Jane has an amazing group of people who have survived homelessness, addictions, mental health problems and trauma who all work side by side; many of whom are now Kew Volunteers sharing their knowledge with others. We were asked to create and facilitate a reflection workshop to help support with clarifying aims, introduce presentation skills and explore teamwork. It was a fantastic session. Check out some of the flowers we drew together and also the recent Guardian article featuring Jerry, one of the allotment stars!
