02/11/19 Bespoken welcomes its first Patron Rebecca Prichard

We are truly honoured to welcome playwright Rebecca Prichard as our first Patron of Bespoken Theatre.

Rebecca is an astonishing award winning writer, who over the years has given a platform to the unheard female voice in society  never compromising in her abilty to ask uncomfortable yet necessary questions through her work. Plays include Essex Girls, Fair Game and Dream Pill.

In 2013, her play Yard Gal comissioned by Clean Break and Royal Court was named as one of the most influential plays in contempory British Theatre.

Rebecca was writer in resident at the Royal Court and her works have been commisioned by the  Royal Court, National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company and by other international establishments.

We are delighted that Rebecca is part of the Bespoken Family.
